We have trialled extended hours for 6 months and there was not enough demand for our taxis to be on standby, so we have reverted back to the original hours of business.

Public holidays are by prior consultation ONLY.

We do not cover Dannevirke due to the expense of the trip.

From CHB to Hastings: Hawke’s Bay Hospital, Royston Hospital, Orthotic House and any other facilities that are required for ACC or personal needs.

From CHB to Havelock North: ACC appointments and personal needs

From CHB to Napier: Airport drop off or pick up and any other facilities required in Napier

We use a VW Caddy which is stable, safe and reliable, with wheelchair restraints to keep you safe and secure. Our wheelchair accessible vehicle is equipped with a ramp for additional stability. There is plenty of room for you and your support person.

Services available:

. Some mobility scooters will fit in the wheelchair van
• Our drivers assist clients in and out of the car at your home and destination if required.
• We are a pre-booked system.
• Wheelchair accessible vehicles are provided and subject to availability.

    We are transport providers for the Total Mobility Scheme in Hawke’s Bay. This is a subsidised transport scheme administered by Hawke’s Bay Regional Council and NZTA – ask your friendly Viv’s driver

    What is the Total Mobility Scheme?

    The Total Mobility Scheme provides discounted travel for people who are unable to use public transport easily or who have

    mobility/cognitive impairments.

    Talk to your local Age Concern to see if you qualify

    Eligible users will be provided with an electronic card by the Hawke’s Bay Regional Council. These can be used anywhere in New Zealand where the scheme operates.

    Your fare is subsidised by 75% per trip, up to a maximum subsidy. The Total Mobility scheme only contributes to the travel element of the total fare.

    Our drivers will get you to and from your destination and provide further assistance as needed. We provide independence and peace of mind for you and your family, caregivers, and professional agencies.

  • We are able to transport wheel chair bound clients and also take mobility scooters on request.

  • We will pre-quote an agreed price up front and go through the journey details with you.

    Our Drivers are police checked and First-Aid trained.
